Michael earned his B.S. from University of Nottingham, England and his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar. He serves on the boards of US Retirement Partners and the New York City Investment Fund and has been a board member of the New York Stock Exchange, General Signal, Loews Cineplex and other public and private companies. For decades, Michael has been a leader in the financial industry, overseeing billions in global funds and heading companies such as Citigroup, Travelers, GE, and Boston Consulting. In 2009, Michael was named Chief Executive Officer of Ally Financial Inc., previously known as GMAC.
In 2010, Henry was appointed Joint Managing Director of SP Capital LLC, an American company that advises and invests in technology companies in Asia, Europe and the U.S. He is also Managing Director of HASS Holdings LLC and since 1997, Managing Director of PS Capital LLC.
Henry serves as a non-executive director of Law Finance Group Holdings, a member of the Board and the Investment Committee of Accelerator Technology Holdings, a Director of SmartCube Technologies and a member of the Board of Inclusion Group Holdings, BV.
In 2013, Henry was awarded an Honorary Fellowship by King’s College, London. He has served on various Boards at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, including the Board of Overseers, and is a member of the Board of the SEI Center for Advanced Studies in Management. Henry is a member of the Academy of the University of Pennsylvania, a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, and a Companion of the British Institute of Management.
